Life with MS makes spontaneity difficult. Years ago when I would wake up on Saturday morning with my hubby, he would often say “Want to go out to breakfast?” I would respond with an eager “yes, I’ll meet you in the car in 15 minutes”. It was a fun thing to do together after a long week at work. Now if he asks me that question my response would be more like, “Can we make it lunch instead?” I figure I could get up and get dressed by then. He understands that now, friends not so much. After all, how long could it possibly take to pull on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt? Uh, let’s see, that could be a 30 min exercise for me. So now I would have to say, I adore spontaneity as long as it’s carefully planned. 🤪 ❤️Ro
