I was lucky to be able to get much needed cortisone shots in both of my arthritic knees yesterday. I was the only one in the waiting room which is usually 80 percent full. It felt eerie. I forgot how much the combination of cortisone and insomnia affect me, so I didn’t get to bed until 3:30 am then awake again at 7 am. People with MS deal with insomnia all the time and it’s not unusual to see emails from my MS friends with a time stamp of 1 or 2 in the morning. We cruise around the house all hours of the night like sleepless zombies. It’s just another annoying part of this disease. We constantly balance insomnia and fatigue. Some of it comes from the meds we take and that’s just a tradeoff we accept. So I’m sorry to admit it but my day often starts backwards….I wake up tired and I go to bed awake. Hmmm that’s something I need to work on. ♥️Ro

Now that’s a whole other story.
