Grocery store employees are unsung heroes on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. Not only do they risk infection to keep our families fed and our pantries full of Cheese-its, they offer one of the last remaining opportunities to interact live with another human being. For those who must shelter alone, it may be the only human ‘one on one’ conversation they have all week. These workers are forced to deal with unending complaints from anxious customers about out-of-stock items, required masks, special “senior shopping hours” and one way isle markers which are seen by some as an inconvenience. People take grocery store workers for granted, I couldn’t agree more. Take time to say thanks for their service next time you shop. Not all heroes wear hospital masks — some wear aprons instead. ❤️Ro

Thanks 😊 for posting this. It’s actually stating the obvious, but you are the first in my world 🌎 to state the obvious. I’m so impressed that I’d love to try to share this with some of my Facebook friends. May I join you in stating the obvious?

Thank you Ro!! It’s nice to hear someone else say what I’ve been thinking and doing all along!! People should never take for granted something they haven’t been exposed to before or how dangerous doing these jobs must be. Imagine their concerns about what they could be exposing themselves and their loved ones to every day to provide essentials for all of us!! THANK YOU TO ALL OUR UNSUNG HEROES FOR YOUR EXTRAORDINARY WORK FOR US ALL!! ❤️💙💜💛💙💚❤️💛🧡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
